SKY PINNICK | DIRECTOR
Sky is the owner and founder of Rage Productions and Rage Films. After graduating from the Art Institute of Seattle with honors he began his production career as a Producer and Senior Designer at Microsoft Studios in Redmond, WA. He left Microsoft in 2000 to start his own Internet video company; Vidigo, which took him to Toronto, Canada. After 9/11 he packed up and headed for the Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City, UT. It was then he decided to mix business with pleasure and formed Rage Films, the adrenaline-fueled, action sports division of Rage Productions. In 2002, Sky found his way back to his hometown of Bend, Oregon, where he originally established Rage Productions nearly a decade earlier.
Sky has produced 12 action sports films, which have received recognition and awards from around the world. In 2011, he directed a documentary titled Boom Varietal, focusing on the Argentine Malbec wine boom, with distribution worldwide. Currently, Sky produces a one-hour TV show for NBC Sports and Rally America, and works as a commercial Director for companies such as Triumph Motorcycles, Nike, Garmin and PetSmart. Sky enjoys traveling the world with his eye always focused through the lens.
